  • Enjoy a balance of idyllic days luxuriating at your beachfront hotel and exploring cultural landmarks that include a Hindu temple, bustling markets, countryside villages and a monument that commemorate Bali’s independence.

    DÍA 1

You are met at the Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali and transferred to your hotel where the day is at your leisure to enjoy the amenities of the resort or to head out and see some of the local sites on your own.

The Apurva Kempinski Bali is a luxurious beachfront hotel perched atop a majestic cliff and offers breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean.

El registro de entrada se realiza a las 15:00 h. Although every effort will be made to have rooms available before this time, this cannot be guaranteed.

All meals on are your own today.

    DÍA 2

Following breakfast at the hotel, the morning will be at your leisure, allowing you to explore freely and then enjoy lunch on your own.

Later in the day you will be met and transferred to Jimbaran, a typical fishing village and coastal resort town. Here you will enjoy a hearty fresh grilled seafood dinner at sunset accompanied by a traditional Balinese Dance performance.

Return to your hotel where the evening is at leisure.

    DÍA 3

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel followed by a journey into the countryside to visit small villages known for their trades and local temples.

Your first stop is at Celuk Village which is known for its production of gold and silver handicrafts. Here, almost all of the villagers are skilled at crafting beautiful pieces that are sold worldwide.

Continue to Penglipuran Culture Village where you will be charmed by the beautifully landscaped homes sitting neatly in a row along a street that runs through the center of the village toward the local temple. The village people live under strict rules just like their ancestors centuries ago, and their architecture is a reflection of this tradition: the front side of the house faces Mt. Agung, home of the gods and each house has its own temple. Through the years, Penglipuran Village has evolved into a community-based tourism destination. You can enter any of the houses where you’ll be welcomed by friendly residents who are typically willing to show you around their compound, each following old Balinese spatial and architectural rules.

Following a typical Balinese lunch, your final stop will be at Kerta Gosa, an ancient court of justice. Admire the unique and traditional Balinese architecture in the gates, walls and main structures. Its distinctive highlight are the painted ceilings of the halls. These exquisite paintings are a fine showcase of the technique known as Kamasan style.

Back at the hotel the remainder of the day and evening are at your leisure with dinner on your own.

    DÍA 4

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before settling any incidentals and checking out. En-route to the ship you will drive to Denpasar City, the current capital of Bali Province. Historically, it was the capital of the Badung Empire, controlling the southern region of Bali Island from the end of 18th century until conquered by the Dutch in 1906.

Your first stop will be at the Bajra Sandhi Monument, which commemorates the Balinese struggle against Dutch colonialism. Designed in the shape of a Hindu bell, the monument contains dozens of detailed dioramas that depict Bali’s long history, including the introduction of Hinduism and the country’s eventual independence.

Next, visit the traditional Badung Market which is located in the heart of the city. It is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day making it the busiest market in Bali. This market has become the main trade center for all convenience goods from groceries to spices, fish and meat, clothing, kitchen crafts and batik textiles. It offers a glimpse into the hustle and bustle of the lives of the locals. If you find something you like don’t be shy to negotiate!

Next, visit the Bali Museum and then on the north side of the city, visit the glorious Temple of Jagatnatha, a Hindu Kahyangan Temple.

Stop briefly at the Inna Bali Heritage Hotel for a refreshment break. This hotel was the first international class hotel in Bali and is steeped in history. World leaders such as Queen Elizabeth, Charlie Chaplin, Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Ir Soekarno Untuk Megawati and other prominent figures have all stayed here in room 77.

Following your brief refreshment stop, you will transfer to the port where you will embark the ship.

  • Fly to Xi’an, the energetic capital of the Shaanxi Province, and tour its most spectacular attractions, including the Terracotta Warriors Museum, Wild Goose Pagoda, Muslim Quarter, Grand Mosque and Tang Dynasty Theatre.

Special Notes: Any guests travelling with Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines should read further below for airline stipulations with regards to bringing this equipment on tour.

Please also review the documentation section below as a single or multiple entry Chinese Visa is required for this program and will depend on how many Chinese ports are visited on your cruise.

    Día 1

Disembark the ship and transfer to the airport for your flight to Xi’an. Upon arriving in Xi’an and passing through immigration, customs and baggage claim, you will start your tour with a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. One of China’s most revered pagodas, it was built in 652 A.D. to house the sutras and figurines of Buddha that a Chinese monk brought to Xi’an. The building was eventually expanded to ten stories, although only seven stories remain, as the others were damaged in various wars. Nevertheless, the pagoda is recognized as a symbol of Xi’an.

Next you will travel to the nearby Defachang Restaurant, popularly known for its dumplings. Carefully hand-prepared, the dumplings are available in dozens of different shapes and colors and filled with a variety of local ingredients. You can expect the meal to be wonderfully traditional. After dinner, you will drive back to the hotel to spend the evening.

Following dinner, proceed to the Shangri La Xi’an (or similar hotel) for check in.

    Día 2

Following breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to the Terracotta Warriors Museum, a repository for thousands of clay soldiers that were buried with China’s first emperor to accompany him in his eternal rest. Considered one of the world’s greatest archaeological treasures, the 7,000 life-size terracotta warriors and horses were buried for centuries until excavated in 1974.

Los guerreros están agrupados por rango para la batalla, algunos en carros de guerra tirados por caballos y otros en grupos de infantería armados con lanzas, espadas y ballestas. Cada figura fue creada en forma individual, con características únicas.

Following the tour and a traditional Chinese lunch at a nearby restaurant, you will explore the Muslim Quarter and its Grand Mosque. Muslims have lived in the quarter for more than 1,000 years ago, beginning with the merchants from Arabic countries that settled at this terminus of the Silk Road. The Grand Mosque is particularly fascinating, as it reflects traditional Chinese and Muslim styles.

After visiting the mosque, you will return to the hotel to freshen up before driving to the Tang Dynasty Theatre for dinner and a cultural performance. The costumed show features ancient music, poetry, singing and dance, some of which were developed as parts of ritual prayers for a good harvest. Following the lively performance, you will return to the hotel to spend the evening.

    Día 3

After breakfast at the hotel and check out, you will visit the Shaanxi History Museum. Inside, seemingly countless exhibits depict the history of China from prehistoric times to the mid-19th Century. It offers an enlightening overview of the country, with a particular emphasis on the Shaanxi Province.

Then, it’s on to a traditional hot pot restaurant for lunch, before driving to the airport for the flight back to Hong Kong. Upon arriving in Hong Kong, you will be transferred to your hotel for the evening. La cena corre por su cuenta.

    Día 4

Disfrute del desayuno en el hotel. Horario de registro de salida: 12:00 h. You will be transferred to the Hong Kong International Airport based on your flight details. Should you have a late flight, luggage storage will be available at the hotel until your transfer time.

In general Hong Kong is visa free for most of the countries worldwide however guests will require a Visa to travel to Xian for this land program.

It is essential that your China visa is obtained prior to travel. If there are other Chinese ports visited on the cruise itinerary, a multiple entry Visa will be required for this land program. If not, then a single-entry Visa will be required.

RSSC will require guests passport details within 75 days of sailing as hotels and airlines are requiring these details for reservations and ticketing. Please ensure the most up to date details are added to your booking before this time. Rooms and flight tickets will not be guaranteed without this information. Should you be waiting for new passport details, both the old and the new information will be required. Bring both passports with you for this journey.

VERY IMPORTANT – The name on your cruise booking, passport and visa must all be exactly the same for flight ticket purchase otherwise guests may be denied travel by flight. Please ensure that all documents are identical in spelling to the names provided for your cruise reservation including first, middle and last name. Manifests generated by the cruise line must match your travel documents.

Please also ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your planned date of return from China and it must have one entire blank page for the visa.

AVISO: Visa requirements are subject to change and Visa procurement is the responsibility of each guest.

  • Gain a deeper understanding of Hong Kong’s culture and traditions by visiting key attractions such as Stanley Market and the Central District, riding a tram to Victoria Peak and cruising through a fishing village by sampan.

    Día 1

Disembark the ship and proceed to Hong Kong Island. For the ultimate view of the surroundings, you will ride the tram up to Victoria Peak. The world’s steepest funicular railway, the Peak Tram opened in 1888 and has been providing spectacular panoramas ever since. As you ascend, you may notice that the steep slope causes an optical illusion in which the skyscrapers seem to be standing at impossible angles.

After pausing for photos at the peak, you will drive on to Aberdeen fishing village and board a sampan boat. While on the water, you can expect to see fishing boats, Chinese junks and villagers doing chores. The experience offers a candid look into daily life, as does your next stop—a tour of a gem factory where you will learn how the craftsmen process the stones for sale or to be set into jewelry.

Then following lunch, it’s on to vibrant Stanley Market, a highly popular shopping destination for merchandise such as silk garments, Chinese costume jewelry and art. As an alternative in Stanley, you might explore Tin Hau Temple, which once stood at the edge of the sea, and the Murray House, an early 19th-Century building that was moved from its original site to the seaside.

Your next destination is Victoria Harbor. Board the renowned Star Ferry for a scenic cruise where you will experience the rhythm and vitality of the city from the water while enjoying the magnificent views offered by the Hong Kong skyline. Disembark and stroll along the Avenue of Stars which wraps around the waterfront. After viewing some of the icons of Hong Kong you will return to your hotel where the remainder of the evening is at your leisure. La cena corre por su cuenta.

    Día 2

After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for Tung Chung, a city on Lantau, Hong Kong’s largest island. The landscape is lush and mountainous, and you will enjoy a wonderful view of it while riding a cable car to Ngong Ping village.

Nearby, you will find Po Lin Monastery. Once a rather remote monastery, it gained prominence in 1993, when a Big Buddha statue was erected here. More than 100 feet high, it attracts pilgrims from all over Asia. Be sure to have your camera ready for photos of the iconic Buddha.

After a vegetarian lunch at the monastery, you will explore Ngong Ping village on your own. The large Buddha here is also impressive, as is the teahouse with its intricate architectural carvings and curved roof.

In time, you will return to Tung Chung and on the hotel to enjoy the remainder of the day and evening on your own. La cena corre por su cuenta.

    Día 3

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then a day at leisure to explore the sights on your own or simply relax and enjoy the amenities of the hotel.

Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong, se encuentra en el famoso distrito de tiendas y entretenimiento Tsim Sha Tsui East. The moment you step out, your adventure begins!

El almuerzo y la cena corren por su cuenta.

AVISO: Due to the volume of guests who may participate in this program, guests may be split into two groups by our local operator and Days 2 and 3 may be reversed. For this reason, it is imperative to advise Regent Seven Seas Cruises at least 14 days before the program starts of any travelling companions so that our ground operator may do their utmost to place you in the same group.

    Día 4

Following breakfast and check out from the hotel, you will be transferred the Hong Kong International Airport for your flight home. Luggage storage is available at the hotel for guests with late flights.

    DAY 1 – 15 de abril de 2025

Disembark the ship in Singapore, meet your guide and transfer to the Singapore airport. Drive time is approximately 45 minutes. Check in for a flight from Singapore to Chiang Mai via Bangkok.

Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, proceed to your hotel. Nestled on the peaceful Ping River, Anantara Chiang Mai Resort is a chic contemporary resort built around a 100-year-old heritage house which once belonged to the British Consulate. The rooms and suites are housed in a sleek, modern building decorated in a simple yet sophisticated style with elements of Thai design. Adding an element of fun, the restaurant presents a 20th-century secret service theme with hidden chambers and James Bond-inspired cocktails.

Enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel with the group.

    DAY 2 – 16 de abril de 2025

After breakfast, depart from your hotel for an overland journey (approximately 3-hours) through the northern Thai countryside to Chiang Rai.

En route, make a short stop at the Mae Kachan Hot Springs where you can dip your feet in the natural hot water pools. Continue the drive towards Chiang Rai and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, travel to the Golden Triangle for a scenic boat ride to a viewpoint overlooking the Mekong River. Here you will see the spot where three countries meet - Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar.

Nearby, visit the Hall of Opium which offers an interesting insight into the history of the opium trade which once affected many hill tribe villagers in this area. Learn about the impacts of the poppy as well as the steps made to help the Golden Triangle community in more recent times.

Continue to your hotel. Perched on a ridge overlooking rolling hills, Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort is a beautiful mountain hideaway with captivating views of the jungle-covered landscape and overlooks the border with Myanmar and Laos. The resort boasts an award-winning elephant camp with scientific research and a conservation program.

In the afternoon, immerse in a Thai healing tradition with a relaxing 90-minute spa session. With a 30-minute body treatment and 60-minute massage, facial or salon treatment, this is an opportunity to focus on mindfulness while being pampered with a soothing herbal experience or a detoxifying spa treatment.

Later, enjoy dinner at the hotel.

    DAY 3 – 17 de abril de 2025

Immerse in Thai culinary culture, learning about the key ingredients and how they are used and stored, as well as alternatives you can substitute when you are at home. Head to the kitchen to prepare a selection of authentic regional dishes which you can later savor for lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy a rare opportunity to walk side-by-side with elephants through natural forests and grasslands. Accompany the elephants on their daily walk in the jungle and watch them roam freely in their natural habitat. See how the gentle giants splash in the river, play in the mud or snack on jungle leaves.

Celebrate the artistic heritage of the old Lanna kingdom with a farewell dinner in the rice field. Savor a traditional khantoke meal where a selection of classic northern Thai dishes is served on a tray, such as pork curry, green chili dip and other local favorites. DAY 1 – 15 de abril de 2025

Disembark the ship in Singapore, meet your guide and transfer to the airport for a flight to Phnom Pehn, Cambodia.

Upon your arrival at the airport, you will collect your luggage and proceed through customs and immigration where your Cambodian visa will be issued (one recent passport sized photo is required along with your passport).

Your driver will meet you at Arrival Terminal’s exit gate with a welcome sign. You will then transfer to Shinta Mani Wild for check in.

Situated on more than 800 acres in a vast river valley on the border of the Cardamom National Forest, Shinta Mani Wild is an extraordinary, environmentally friendly resort dedicated to fulfilling each guest’s sense of adventure. You will stay in one of 15 luxury private tents along the riverbank.

Your jungle adventure begins from the moment you arrive! You will climb Eastern Tower’s 102 steps, don zip line equipment, clip into a double cable for extra safety, and after a safety briefing, fly… at upwards of 50 kmph for 400 meters, over the Butterfly tent and the first crossing of the Tmor Rung River to land at the West Tower.

Then fly in the face of Raging Big Sister Falls before landing at the Landing Zone Bar where you’ll be handed a gin and tonic. Aviso: For guests who would prefer not to zip line in, your driver will bring you directly to the Landing Zone Bar as well as all the luggage.

An adventure butler will see to your every need, from unpacking and packing your luggage to satisfying even the most whimsical requests, if possible. The butler will also accompany you on every adventure so nothing will be left to chance.

Dining, all of which is included at Shinta Mani Wild, is just as magnificent with each meal being completely different from any other and an adventure itself.

Between meals at the resort, you will spend your time pursuing the adventures that sound most appealing.

    The options include:

    JUNGLE TREKKING

The resort borders the 4.5-million-acre Southern Cardamom National Park, so the opportunities for trekking into the jungle are endless. Opt for anything from an easy walk on a riverside trail to full-day slog into the Cardamom interior. Your adventure butler will happily guide you on the adventure of your choosing. (1-8 hours)

    FOREST FORAGING

Discover and taste Cambodia’s natural larder in the company of our camp sous chef and expert forager Bong Van Det. He will lead the way through the forest while describing the found ingredients and offering tastes of them. Chef Van Det will be grateful for your help in filling his basket with delicacies for the foraged tasting dinner that follows. (1-2 hours)

    CICLISMO DE MONTAÑA

There are mountain biking opportunities for riders of all skill levels. Looking for a virgin run on a forest single track or perhaps a less arduous ride through a Khmer village? Or maybe a drive from camp to the Kirirom Reservoir for a challenging uphill ride and an exhilarating downhill sprint is more your speed. (1-4 hours)

    KAYAKING

The Cardamom rainforest has some of the highest annual rainfall in Southeast Asia, which creates a massive system of rivers and estuaries that are ideal for flat-water kayaking. The best opportunities for bird watching are along these barely used water routes, where the rare encounter with a fisherman will be a surprise and a delight. (2.5 hours)

    A WILD PHOTO SHOOT

Our adventure butlers will show you some of our favorite photo and video locations, where you might sip a glass of champagne under a waterfall, race downhill on a zipline, drive a Jeep through the forest or hang out with a wildlife alliance ranger. You can become the stars and let us take the photos for you to share on social media.

    EXPEDITION BOAT

Our luxury, custom-built expedition boats are perfect for exploring the backwaters of the upper Srey Ambel Estuary and the connecting waterways. Early risers will enjoy a sunrise breakfast on board or on a secluded beach. If you prefer a later expedition, you can opt for a sunset cruise. If you are feeling particularly adventurous, you can ride a bicycle through the jungle to and from the expedition boat.

    WILDLIFE ALLIANCE RANGERS ANTI-POACHING PATROL

If you share our passion for protecting the environment, feel free to join the Wildlife Alliance rangers and motorcycle through the forest on an anti-poaching patrol. Funded by Shinta Mani Wild, the camp’s ranger station enables the non-profit Wildlife Alliance to carry out vital conservation work, including protecting animals from poaching, removing snares, protecting the national park from encroachment and preventing illegal logging. (2-5 hours)

    WILD COCKTAILS

Have you ever wanted to learn the best way to build, stir, muddle or shake up a cocktail? If so, our mixologist Bong Ae will show you the fine art of perfecting classic cocktails such as a Negroni. Or create your own cocktail and infuse it with whatever flavors you wish.

    BIENESTAR

Indulge in pampering treatments at Khmer Tonics, our spa nestled amid giant rocks in the forest. As an alternate to the spa treatment rooms, you may enjoy a river-stone foot massage while soaking in a waterfall pool or indulge in a treatment on the balcony of your private tent with the river rushing below. All treatments are complimentary.

    DAY 1 – 22 de abril de 2025

After disembarking the cruise ship in Ho Chi Minh City, you will transfer to the airport for a flight to Danang.

Upon arrival in Danang, you will be greeted and escorted to the meeting point where the jeeps await. While exploring Danang by jeep, you will see the remarkable Cham Museum, which contains the world’s largest collection of sculpture created by the Cham people in the 4th to 14th centuries.

In time, you will drive through the Marble Mountains and on to Hoi An. A UNESCO World Heritage since 1999, Hoi An is a picturesque old town set on the banks of the Thu Bon River. Characterized by several rows of bright yellow traditional houses, the town flourished during the 16th and 17th centuries when it was one of Southeast Asia’s most prominent ports.

The influence of Chinese, Japanese and European traders can still be seen today in the narrow, meandering streets that reveal a range of architecture, including Chinese assembly halls, grand merchants' houses and French colonial villas.

In the evening, you will enjoy dinner at a beautifully decorated, atmospheric restaurant before checking into the Anantara Hoi An Resort or similar accommodations for the night.

    DAY 2 – 23 de abril de 2025

After breakfast at the resort, you will begin a 10-kilometer (6.2 miles) bicycle ride to a small vegetable farming village on the outskirts of Hoi An, where you will meet a vegetable farmer that grows various crops using organic and traditional methods.

After being served a welcome drink of freshly squeezed fruits, you will roll up your sleeves to experience a typical day on the farm. You will learn about the different farming equipment and their uses, join the farmers in the field to prepare the land for sowing or crop cultivation and help fertilize the soil using seaweed from the nearby river.

You will also pick some vegetables and herbs from the garden and head to the kitchen to make a local specialty using the freshly harvested ingredients. You will then dine on the concoction that you have just made.

Afterwards, you will pedal farther into the Hoi An countryside. There, you will enjoy lunch in the rice paddies with stunning views of an adjacent river.

The afternoon will be spent exploring the charms of Hoi An’s Old Town on foot. Escorted by a local conservator, you will stroll through winding streets and past rows of traditional houses. Highlights include seeing the grand Old House of Tan Ky and an 18th-century merchant's house, admiring the traditional elegance of the Fukien Assembly Hall and passing through an impressive 400-year-old Japanese covered bridge.

Continuing on, you will soon arrive at a studio that makes traditional lanterns. Guided by experts, you will learn the basics of the centuries-old craft and create our own colorful lantern, which you can take home as a souvenir.

The remainder of the day will be at your leisure. You might wander around the Old Town, shop, try local street foods and relax at a café overlooking the Thu Bon River.

The evening will be spent at the Anantara Hoi An Resort.

    DAY 3 – 24 de abril de 2025

Following breakfast at the resort and check out, you will settle in for a private two-hour-and-a-half transfer to Hue, taking the route along the Hai Van Pass, a stretch of road that offers spectacular views of the coastline.

Set along the picturesque Perfume River, Hue is a captivating city that enjoyed an illustrious history as the center of power for Vietnam’s former imperial rulers. The city still maintains much of its majestic charm, where elaborate royal tombs and an imposing Imperial Citadel reveal the extravagant lifestyles of the former emperors.

In Hue, you will visit a local Vietnamese family home to experience traditional values dating back to the feudal period under the Nguyen emperors. You will enjoy a leisurely chat with the family to learn about their lifestyle and traditional customs. You will then take a short walk to see the family’s temple and to experience some of the customs associated with ancestral worship.

Back at the house, you will watch a cooking demonstration and learn how to prepare some traditional dishes with tips from the family. You will then sit down to enjoy the homemade lunch with the host family.

You will next visit the tomb of Tu Duc, known as the Poet Emperor. Designed by the emperor himself, the tomb is set in an elegant garden of pine trees and frangipanis overlooking a magnificent lake. It is a fitting final resting place for the emperor who loved romance and Eastern philosophies.

Not far from the tomb is a village that has been making incense sticks for generations. Commonly used for ancestral worship, incense sticks can be seen in most every house and temple in Vietnam. Here, you will discover how they are made from thin sticks of bamboo that are dyed and dried in a mixture of sandalwood, cinnamon or pine-scented powder.

In the evening, you will enjoy a private dinner at a traditional house on the banks of the Perfume River. Bringing together a collection of original building materials sourced from old properties around Hue, the stone-walled mansion was crafted to recreate the nostalgia of Vietnam’s imperial past. The labor of love took nine years to build and stands amid a garden of native shrubbery and carp-filled ponds overlooking the river. The owner, a professional singer and painter, will entertain you with a musical performance. A five-course meal served in the house will follow. Aviso: Smart casual dress is required for this evening. Shorts and sandals are not permitted.

You will spend the night at the Pilgrimage Village Boutique Resort & Spa or similar hotel.

    DAY 4 – 25 de abril de 2025

Following breakfast at the resort and check out, you will fly to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.

Upon arrival, you will embark on journey through one of Vietnam’s most iconic natural wonders. The UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ha Long Bay is known for its dramatic beauty, where thousands of rugged limestone karsts can be seen jutting out like dragon’s teeth amid the emerald waters.

You will cruise the bay on a beautifully crafted Vietnamese sailing vessel. After a quick safety briefing from the crew, the boat will set sail. The deck is a great place to watch the dramatic scenes of Ha Long Bay unfold and to enjoy the surreal landscape as you pass limestone islets and intriguing grottoes.

After an inspiring four-hour journey, you will return to the pier and head to the port to re-board the cruise ship.

  • This incredible journey invites guests to reflect on the past as they experience the present opportunities and beauty of today. Begin with a visit to the sobering Tuol Sleng Museum in Phnom Penh, a sobering reminder of the brutal tragedy brought about by the temporary rule of Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge in the 1970s. Regroup in the Russian Market to experience the present resilience and beauty of the local culture. Take in the traditional design of The Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, built upon the site of the Banteay Kev, a citadel built in 1813. Finally, visit the wondrous Angkor Wat for an unforgettable experience.

    DAY 1 – 15 de abril de 2025

Disembark the ship in Singapore and transfer by coach to the airport for a flight to Phnom Penh.

Upon arrival in Phnom Penh you will be met and assisted with obtaining a Cambodian Entry Visa. Once this has been issued, proceed to your hotel for check-in. Dinner is included at the hotel.

    Day 2 – 16 de abril de 2025

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before setting out. This morning visit Tuol Sleng Museum, originally a local high school which was taken over in 1975 by the Khmer Rouge and converted into “Security Prison 21” (S - 21). During the three years of Khmer Rouge brutality the prison became synonymous with terror. Today the prison has reopened as a museum and offers a grim reminder of the excesses of the Khmer Rouge.

After you have had time to absorb the tragic events, your guide will return you to hotel via a Russian Market to lighten your spirits as you browse the various goods on offer, re-assured that despite the country’s dark history, the good people of Cambodia have persevered.

Named thanks to its popularity with visitors from the former USSR in the 1980s, the Russian Market is probably the city's best source of objects d'art and craft items.

Your guide will lead you around the market and be on hand to explain some of the more curious items for sale, including wooden and stone carvings, various ritual objects, silverware, and old Indochinese notes and coins.

Thirty minutes outside of Phnom Penh to the somber 'Killing Fields' of the Khmer Rouge and the mass graves that tells the dark story of Cambodia’s disturbing past.

After lunch at a local restaurant you will visit The Royal Palace. This structure was constructed earlier this century on the site of the Banteay Kev, a citadel built in 1813. Keen-eyed travelers may spot the design is strongly influenced by The Royal Palace in Bangkok.

Together with your guide, venture inside the Palace's Silver Pagoda and its surrounding compound (the only section open to visitors). The Silver Pagoda, also known as Wat Preah Keo, was given its name because of over 5,000 silver tiles (weighing 1kg each) that cover the floor.

Continue your exploration of Phnom Penh at the National Museum of Khmer Art and Archaeology, otherwise known as 'Musée des Beaux-Arts' or 'Musée Albert Sarraut'. This museum is considered to be one of the finest museums of classical Cambodian art.

This evening enjoy dinner at Malis or similar before returning to your hotel.

    DAY 3 – 17 de abril de 2025

After breakfast and checking out, transfer to the Phnom Penh International Airport for a flight to Siem Reap.

On arrival in Siem Reap you will be met and taken to the Angkor Site to collect your temple passes which are required for touring. Once these have been issued, transfer to your hotel for check-in and a light lunch.

After lunch, venture to the Angkor Wat Temple Complex. You will have approximately 2 hours to explore its archaeological treasures with your guide before returning to your hotel.

Your guide will point out the best spots for taking photos of this massive temple complex as you walk amidst the moss-peppered cobbled pathways, gaze up at the intricately carved tower tops and perhaps climb the steep and narrow temple steps that lead to wide courtyards. Lose yourself in contemplation as you catch the rays of the sun dancing off the bas relief carvings, the chatter of monkeys reverberating off the temple walls.

This evening, enjoy a magical dining experience amid ancient Angkor with rare access to the grounds of a historical temple at night. You are transported to the temple venue, approximately 10 kilometers (six miles) from downtown Siem Reap, where you are greeted by the sound of Khmer drums. Follow the torchlit path into the dining venue and enjoy dinner and drinks accompanied by traditional dance and music.

    Day 4 – 18 de abril de 2025

  • See sides of Hanoi that few visitors ever experience and come away with an authentic impression of the local culture, an adventure that will be enhanced by flying over and then cruising dramatically beautiful Halong Bay.

Due to the nature of this program, it is not available to guests with mobility restrictions.

Nota Especial: Guests travelling with Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines should read further below for airline stipulations with regards to bringing this equipment on tour.

    DAY 1 - 23 de abril de 2025

After disembarking the cruise ship in Nha Trang, you will transfer to the Cam Ranh airport for a two-hour flight to Hanoi. A light meal will be served on the flight.

Upon landing, you will be greeted and assisted with VIP Fast track services and transferred to the Sofitel Hanoi or a similar hotel for the evening.

Hanoi is home to centuries-old traditional architecture that stands alongside French-colonial mansions as well as traditional temples. The life of the city can be seen in the narrow streets of the Old Quarter, where small boutiques, coffee shops and lively street vendors contribute to the vibrant atmosphere.

    DAY 2 - 24 de abril de 2025

You will get an early start to witness Hanoi slowly come to life as market vendors and city workers prepare for the day ahead.

A driver will take you through Hanoi on a cyclo, a three-wheeled bicycle taxi that accommodates two passengers. You will pass through boulevards that will become crowded later in the day but are just coming to life. While visiting the Botanical Gardens, you will likely see locals exercising, following tai chi masters and playing badminton—all typical early-morning activities.

Continuing on in the cyclo, you will travel along a leafy street lined with French colonial villas. You will stop to explore the city’s largest fresh food market, where many local shops and restaurants source their produce. The market is located near Long Bien Bridge, an iconic steel overpass that the French built in the early 20th century.

Return to your hotel for breakfast and to freshen up before continuing your tour.

Proceed to the mausoleum of former President Ho Chi Minh and learn about his role in Vietnam’s journey towards independence. His humble stilted house, which resembles an ethnic village home, is nearby.

Other landmarks include the One Pillar Pagoda, a unique 11th-century structure dedicated to King Ly Thai To’s son, and Hoa Lo Prison, which was known as the Hanoi Hilton during the Vietnam War.

After lunch at a local restaurant, you will walk alongside the train tracks and observe typical Hanoian families living in narrow houses beside the railway line. Small boutique shops and quaint cafés line the gravel road where residents gather to converse and hang out their laundry to dry. The passing of a train, just inches from their houses, seems to be just another part of the day in this humble area of town.

You will then travel to a trendy lounge for a cup of coffee while enjoying the scenery. You will see Long Bien Bridge, an iconic steel overpass that the French built across the Red River in the early 20th century.

Back at the hotel, you will have time to relax and freshen up before exploring Hanoi in the evening on the back of a Vespa. The driver will take you through busy streets and narrow passageways to show you a side of Hanoi that most visitors never see. You can expect it to be a genuine glimpse of daily life, especially while pausing at a vegetable market and to meander past narrow houses where many generations of the same family live together under one roof.

To add to your understanding of local life, you will also stop to sample local delicacies and a glass of bia hoi, a fresh brewed Vietnamese beer. Before returning to the hotel, you will take one last trip to a trendy area near West Lake to soak up the atmosphere.

    DAY 3 - 25 de abril de 2025

Following breakfast at the hotel and check out, you will head back to Noi Bai airport and take a seaplane to Halong Bay. The one-hour flight offers fabulous aerial views of the bay and the surrounding landscape. The water landing will be especially exhilarating.

The UNESCO World Heritage site Halong Bay is known for its natural beauty, where thousands of rugged limestone karsts can be seen jutting out like dragon’s teeth amid the emerald waters. You will see the bay up close on a beautifully crafted Vietnamese sailing vessel with a maximum capacity of 35 guests. As the boat sets sail, you will be served lunch.

Out on deck is the best place to watch the dramatic scenery unfold and soak up the majestic atmosphere of this surreal landscape as the vessel cruises past limestone islets and grottoes. After an inspiring journey, you will return to the pier and head to the Sunworld Passenger to re-embark the cruise ship.

Aviso: The seaplane transfer from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay by seaplane includes a 15-minute scenic flight over the bay. Each passenger is allowed a maximum of seven kilograms of hand luggage on the seaplane. Flights are subject to change at short notice due to weather conditions. Any excess luggage will be transported by road to Halong Bay. Guests will be required to provide their weight for the seaplane journey.

  • Explore ancient cities, including two UNESCO World Heritage sites, that shed light on the centuries when Thailand first flourished and enjoy experiential adventures such as cruising on a rice barge.

    DAY 1 – 15 de abril de 2025

After disembarking the cruise ship in Singapore, you will be met by a representative at the gangway and board a coach for the 45-minute drive to the Singapore airport. You will then fly to Bangkok.

On arrival in Bangkok, you will accompany your guide to discover old Siam in the former capital of Ayutthaya.

Strategically positioned on an island between three rivers, the city of Ayutthaya rose to prosperity during the 14th to 18th centuries when the Siamese kingdom flourished through trade between the East and West. Now a UNESCO World Heritage site, the former capital city contains several significant archaeological treasures, including the remains of Buddhist monasteries, temples and palaces.

You will visit Wat Phanan Cheoeng, one of the city’s oldest temples, which features a large Buddha statue. Behind the temple is a small 18th-century shrine built to honor a Chinese princess with a tragic story.

Following this visit, you will transfer to the Kantary Ayutthaya hotel or a similar hotel, where you will

enjoy a welcome dinner and spend the evening.

    DAY 2 – 16 de abril de 2025

After breakfast at the hotel and check out, you will drive approximately 3 hours to Uthaithani. There, you will visit Wat Tha Sung. The temple is known as the Crystal Hall for its exquisite glittering pillars.

You will then transfer to the pier for a cruise on a traditional rice barge. The experience will provide an excellent perspective to watch local life unfold as the barge passes through the beautiful countryside.

After the cruise, you will journey to Sukhothai, the first ancient capital of Siam. It was established in the 13th century. There you will check into the Sriwilai Sukhothai Resort & Spa or a similar hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening massage — either a traditional Thai massage or a foot massage.

Following dinner at the hotel, you will spend the evening.

    DAY 3 – 17 de abril de 2025

After breakfast at the hotel, you will explore Sukhothai's UNESCO World Heritage site Historical Park, which marks the Golden Age of Thai civilization. The ruins date back to the 13th and 14th centuries and are located among tranquil lakes, gardens and ponds dotted with lotus flowers.

Upon arrival, you will ride in a bicycle while exploring and immersing yourself in the site's history. A home-cooked picnic lunch will be served along the way. Time permitting, you will also visit a local ceramics factory before returning to the hotel.

Later that night, you will enjoy a farewell dinner that features a selection of classic Thai dishes. The meal will be accompanied by a traditional Thai dance performance that celebrates centuries of Sukhothai culture and heritage.

    DAY 4 – 18 de abril de 2025

Following breakfast and check out from the hotel, you will transfer to Sukhothai Airport for the flight to Bangkok.

  • Luxuriate at a blissful retreat hidden away in idyllic Nui Chua National Park, a natural wonderland that you can explore in a variety of ways before flying to bustling Hanoi to experience Vietnamese urban life.

Nota Especial: Guests travelling with Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines should read further below for airline stipulations with regards to bringing this equipment on tour.

    DÍA 1

Disembark the ship In Nha Trang and explore the sights with your guide. Visit the Oceanographic Institute, Long Son Pagoda and Po Nagar Cham Towers, a sacred Hindu site dating back to the 2nd century AD. The towers were built between the seventh and twelfth centuries and are a place of pilgrimage for Cham and Vietnamese Buddhists.

After lunch at a local restaurant, settle in for an immensely scenic, 2.5-hour drive to the Amanoi Resort & Spa. Located within the verdant embrace of Nui Chua National Park and UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Amanoi is a naturally beautiful, remote paradise overlooking Vinh Hy Bay. The resort’s clifftop restaurants and swimming pool, lakeside Aman Spa and private golden beach offer abundant opportunities for outdoor exploration, cultural immersion and serene relaxation.

Other than a scheduled dinner at the resort, the remainder of the day will be at your leisure.

    DAY 2 - 24 de abril de 2025

You will be free to take advantage of the resort’s generous amenities as you please. Complimentary services include breakfast, afternoon tea and a morning wellness class in Pilates, yoga or fitness.

If you wish to explore beyond the resort, you may opt for any of the following, which have surcharges:

Explore Vinh Hy Bay. You might sail across the waters on a catamaran, observe the underwater wonders in a glass-bottom kayak and snorkel the reefs below the surface on a guided expedition. Much of the bay is within a conservation area with an abundance of colorful fish and more than 350 varieties of coral. Hobie cats, stand-up paddle boards and windsurfers are also available.

Hike Nui Chua National Park. A variety of trails crisscross through the rugged, forested parkland and offer panoramic views of the natural scenery. You might hike an easy trail to an isolated beach, take a more challenging route through the rocky coastline or follow the path to Goga Peak for perhaps the most sweeping view of the park.

Visit ancient ruins. The 13th-century temple complex of Po Klong Garai presents a window into the ancient heritage of the Cham people, who once dominated the coast of southern Vietnam. After exploring the ruins, you will enjoy the sunset as a Cham master conducts a sacred blessing before a traditional Cham feast is served.

Summit the King. If you wish to spend a full day exploring Nui Chua National Park, you can ascend to the summit of King Peak and then continue on to Cau Gay, a village where the Raglai people live. During this lengthy trek, you can swim in rock pools, gaze out over the stunning scenery and hear legends of the region’s highest peaks.

Wellness Immersions. The spa at the resort offers wellness immersions that are custom-tailored to your individual health and personal goals. There are immersions that refresh the mind, other that naturally cleanse and rejuvenate the body, and still others that are more meditative to inspire a renewed inner focus.

The evening will be spent at the resort with dinner on your own.

    DAY 3 - 25 de abril de 2025

After breakfast at the resort and check out, you will depart for Cam Ranh airport for the flight to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted and assisted with VIP Fast track services and transferred Hanoi’s city center. The city is home to centuries-old traditional architecture that stands alongside French-colonial mansions as well as traditional temples. The life of the city can be seen in the narrow streets of the Old Quarter, where small boutiques, coffee shops and lively street vendors contribute to the vibrant atmosphere.

After lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit Quoc Tu Giam, a Confucian temple known as the Temple of Literature. Built in the 11th century, it is recognized as Hanoi’s first university. The royal family and Vietnam’s elite society were educated there for almost 700 years.

You will then hop on an eco-friendly buggy for a leisurely ride past icons such as St. Joseph’s Cathedral of Hanoi, Ngoc Son temple and Dong Xuan market. You will also have time to wander through the Old Quarter and explore its narrow 15th-century streets, each bearing a name that reflects the business once conducted there, such as Silk Street, Rice Street, Paper Street and Jeweler’s Street.

You will also visit an ancient house to learn about traditional Vietnamese architecture before transferring to Halong Bay to re-board our ship.

It is also a good idea to bring along a small packet of tissues or wet wipes. Wear flat comfortable walking shoes not sandals or open-toed shoes or flip flops. Guest are requested to take off their foot wear and hats when visiting religious sites.

    Equipaje

Light luggage is most suited. The airline(s) allow a maximum of one checked suitcase (20 kg or 44 lbs.) and one small carry-on. Additional pieces will be in excess, and guests must pay the corresponding fees to the airline(s).

    Moneda Local

The local currency is the Thai Baht. Bring U.S .dollars as they are commonly accepted in Thailand. Take smaller denominations, as they will keep you from ending up with a lot of local change that you will not be able to re-exchange back home.

    Electricidad

Rooms are equipped with 220-volt, two-pin U.S.-style electrical outlets. Bring an adaptor kit for electronic devices.

Carriage of Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines on internal flights per airline regulations (subject to change as each airline has their own regulations)

    1. Guests must obtain a doctor’s certificate mentioning their medical condition and the need to carry this equipment with them on their flights.

    2. The certificate should have attached a picture of the equipment with its description/specifications especially with regards to the type of batteries used (lithium/dry or any other type).

    3. These documents need to be sent to the Land Program Team via Reservations at RSSC at least one month prior to travel so that our local operator can begin the notification process with the airline(s).

    4. Failure to comply with the above regulations may result in a denial of this equipment at the airport for which Regent Seven Seas Cruises nor our local ground operator be responsible for.

    Requisitos de Documentación y Visa

A passport that is valid at least 6 months after travel is required.

VERY IMPORTANT – The name on your cruise booking, passport and any visas if required, must all be exactly the same for flight ticket purchase for this program, otherwise guests may be denied travel by flight. Please ensure that all documents are identical in spelling to the names provided for your cruise reservation including first, middle and last name. Manifests generated by the cruise line must match your travel documents.

Failure to have the required documents ahead of time or incorrect names on flight tickets will result in denial of travel or ticket re-purchase and guests will be responsible for any fees incurred.
